What Does Tax Reform Mean to the Florida Taxpayer??

- You will save an estimated $20 a month

- For that $20 a month, you face losing the fire station in your area that houses the firefighters and paramedics you would need in an emergency. You will face an extra 3-4 minute wait for service could cost a loved one their lives. There is a good reason that fire station is where it is.

- Once a fire station in your area is closed, your insurance company can raise your rates due to the increase in loss potential from a prolonged fire department response. This alone could cost you $50-100 a month.

- Once again, educational funding for our children will be slashed.

- Libraries, parks, and other city entertainment venues could be sold to private entities or closed because they cannot be funded.

- Roads and bridges could become privatized. Your $20 a month would then go to tolls.
